Welcome to The Last Page Tavern
Thank you so much for stopping by. This is certainly going to change a lot over the course of its lifespan but here is how it is currently.
The idea of this blog came from two thought processes. The first being is that I miss my podcast that I had. I would read one book a month and have two to four episodes where I would talk about it and I miss that. I love chatting with people and I love sharing my thoughts on the world, no matter how many people hear them or want to hear them I love sharing.
The second came from when I finished Somewhere Beyond the Sea by TJ Klune. I had finished reading the novel and I was craving something new. Hours I spent online looking for something and I came up short. As I was looking however I remember there are book reviewers who get ARCs and I wanted a slice of the action. So I went to Net Galley and signed up. Well to increase your approval rates you need a following. And there are people on Youtube and TikTok that do well for themselves but I just do not think I have the capacity to video edit. So here you are. Welcome
The blog will be part book review, part lifestyle blog, part whatever else I feel like writing about. Maybe I’ll have a guest writer but who knows. So please be gentle and kind with me as i figure this out and find my voice in writing.
